Our technology converts plastic waste into green oil
From waste to value
The AES FLUKS pyrolysis process
1. The plastic waste is heated and fed into the reactor.
2. The long-chain polymers are further heated in the reactor in the absence of oxygen and thus broken down into shorter chains. Gaseous products are formed.
3. The gas is cooled in a multi-stage fractionation system to produce liquid products – our green recycling oil, which is used as a raw material in the production of plastics.
4. Remaining gas is used to generate energy. Only a small amount of ash remains, which is continuously discharged from the system.
Pyrolysis is a well-researched and established process. We have made it even more efficient. Thanks to years of development, AES technology is now economically viable.
The AES FLUKS reactor module - flexible and versatile.
Efficient
Throughput 15 kg/h per reactor module, energy consumption 1 kWh/kg
Robust
Corrosion-resistant stainless steel enables a wide range of applications
Compact
Enclosure in a 20′ container possible.
How we apply our technology - AES plant
Each plant is modularly constructed with several AES FLUKS reactors – up to 5 tons per day can be processed. The first plant will be built in Papenburg, Germany in 2026.
Close to the waste
Post-industrial waste is recycled where it is generated, saving on energy-intensive logistics and sorting.
Blueprint
A blueprint of the plant maximizes cost efficiency in engineering and enables low CAPEX.
Autonomous operation
Thanks to the use of state-of-the-art digital control technology, the plant runs with as few personnel as possible.
Holistic approach
We think recycling from scratch. We categorize the waste according to its processability and direct it to the best possible use.
