PyroVC - creating value from non-recyclable polyvinyl chloride
In the EU, 65% of PVC is incinerated, as mechanical recycling is often difficult. This project aims to recover high-quality hydrochloric acid and oil in equal measure and return them to the cycle. The aim is to make PVC-containing waste recyclable. If this disruptive technology is successfully implemented in the AES plants, a market with great potential can be opened up.
GReTa - German Engineered Renewable Wind Turbine Blade
Wind turbine blades are still not recycled sufficiently. The majority ends up in incineration or landfill. To change this, a turbine blade consisting entirely of recycled material is being developed, which can be recycled with our technology.
ReSensePro - Integration of complex sensor technology into process control
Complex inline sensor technology is installed that continuously collects material data and forwards this data to the control system. Thanks to intelligent control, the CO2 footprint of the AES recycling plants can be further reduced and the oil yield increased. Overall, this leads to an increase in efficiency of 7.6%.
